AIGA Atlanta is an all-volunteer organization. Our programming is proposed and developed by our programming chairs and their committees, covering a wide-range of topics. There are a number of opportunities for you to learn more and connect with our committees to help us bring events to our local design community:

Open Board Meetings
AIGA Atlanta holds open board meetings quarterly (February, May, August, and November) where anyone in our design community is welcome to join us to meet the board in person and hear about events and initiatives in development. Check our website for registration the month before the board meeting, or sign up for our AIGA ATL Email List to learn about upcoming events.

Contact a Board Member
Interested in attending a committee meeting to learn more? Contact a board member to attend their next meeting so you can learn first-hand what is in development and how you can participate in the event planning process.

Programming
Handles general events for the chapter including Buzz Happy Hour, workshops, speakers, mentorship programs and large events like the Poster Show.

Business of Design
Focused on the business side of the design profession, this Committee coordinates many of the roundtable discussion series including Studio Owner’s Roundtable, Women’s Roundtable, Young Freelancer’s Roundtable, and Design for Good Roundtable. They also on occasion put on speaker-based programming around business practices.

Education
The Student Board, which falls under the Education committee plans all of the student-focused events including attendee favorites, Pin-Up Show and Type Fight!

In-House
The In-House committee creates programs focused on the needs of in-house designers. Past events have included panel discussions and an In-House tour of the Atlanta Hawks.
