What agency or designer inspires you?

David Ogilvy

What is your ideal job at the end of school?

Work as an Art Director for Ogilvy, NY

How do you deal with creative blocks?

Firstly, I’ll take a breather and step away from the task at hand. A change of scenery or even a different creative project can do wonders in sparking new ideas. Next up, I’ll call in the cavalry – collaboration is key! Brainstorming with a team of creative geniuses or bouncing ideas off of my colleagues can help to generate fresh perspectives and concepts. When all else fails, I’ll hit up my sources of inspiration. Art exhibits, films, books, nature – you name it, I’ll draw from it. Sometimes, seeing how other artists approach their work can ignite the flames of creativity within me. And last but certainly not least, I always make sure to carve out designated creative time each day. By committing to a regular practice, I can easily slip into a state of creative flow, and before I know it, my mind is brimming with fresh ideas!

If you could interview any creative, who would it be?

Alejandro Juli – Group Creative Director at David Miami

How do you want people to remember your work?

I want my work to be remembered like a party that nobody wants to leave! I want people to look at my designs and feel like they’re having the time of their lives. Whether it’s a vibrant color palette or a quirky illustration, I want my work to make people smile, laugh, or even gasp in awe. I also strive to create work that is impactful and meaningful. I want to leave a lasting impression on people, whether it’s through a thought-provoking message or a striking visual that sticks in their minds long after they’ve seen it. But most importantly, I want my work to inspire others. As an Art Director, I have the power to ignite the spark of creativity in others and encourage them to pursue their passions. Whether it’s through a mentorship program or a simple chat over coffee, I want to inspire the next generation of artists and creatives to take risks and push boundaries with their work.

If you had to rebrand a logo which one would it be and why?

If I were tasked with rebranding the NASA logo, I would be thrilled to take on such an exciting and meaningful project. While the current NASA logo has become an iconic symbol of space exploration, it could certainly use a refresh to better reflect the organization’s current goals and aspirations. The logo should be an aspirational symbol that inspires people to dream big and strive for greatness. It should capture the essence of NASA’s mission while also speaking to a new generation of space enthusiasts and explorers.
