There are designers. There are designers who use type. But then there are the designers of type. MODA and AIGA Atlanta Student Board present a moderated panel discussion between two modern type designers who call Georgia home: Neil Summerour of Positype.com and Stefán Kjartansson of Armchair.
They come from different backgrounds and experience but both designers show they have a passion for creating typefaces to create a very particular voice. They will share their thoughts on the skills needed to design type, challenges associated with it, and will also answer questions from the audience.
