Student Type Fight

Students from Atlanta schools are invited to MODA to pit their typography and design skills against one another in a Type Fight!

Start stretching your sketching fingers, AIGA Atlanta Student Board and MODA are hosting this year's Type Fight! This event is open to all students, and it’s the place to showcase your type tenacity. Competitors will battle live, designing a letter from concept to completion.

Digital and analog letters are accepted!

Come out and have a great time while challenging yourself and others!
Popular vote will choose the champion. Get your pencils sharpened, your tablets shined, and sign up now!

Registration
This event is free to participate!
But space is limited, so please register to reserve your spot to compete.

Guests and visitors are welcome to spectate and enjoy the exhibits at MODA while the competitors work on their entries.

RULES:

Can bring whatever supplies you need to draw with:

• Permitted
- Color palette prepared in advance
- Pattern prepared in advance
- Type style defined in advance

• NOT Permitted
- No vector (or otherwise) letters prepared anywhere in advance
- No tracing type inspiration or specimens
- No outlined type vectors in document

• WIFI remains off and moderators checking

• Any infringement on these rules disqualifies participant

• All entries must start with at least one rough composition on 8X8” paper
