AIGAAtlanta Volunteer Days rally our own community of designers to support the sustainability of Atlanta. We're looking for participants to support WonderRoot for their Creative Reuse Day. This event is aimed at uniting families with local artists, activists and organizations committed to environmentally aware and sustainable practices. Help us support our community by being a designer for good, and volunteer with us.
Creative Reuse Day, A WonderRoot Family Day Event, will unite families with local artists, activists and organizations committed to environmentally aware and sustainable practices. The event will take place at CHaRM (The Center for Hard to Recycle Materials) where local organizations will be stationed with a variety of engaging, collaborative activities focused on the theme of “Creative Reuse”. In addition, local artist Lauren Peterson will be working to complete a largescale public artwork comprised of found/recycled materials that attendees will have the opportunity to contribute to. It’s going to be an awesome jampacked day of family fun, creativity, and environmental action! Creative Reuse Day is an allages event and will take place on Sunday, March 20 from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm. The following will be participating: Wylde Center, SoulShine, Live Thrive, SCRAP Bin, Turning Sun School, WonderRoot Creative Reuse, City of Atlanta Office of Sustainability, and Made Again.
