MODA Presents: Virtual Movie Screening of The New Bauhaus with follow-up Director Q&A

What is the relationship between humans and technology?

How does immigration fuel culture?

Can art or design change the world?

You’re invited to explore these questions with MODA by screening the film THE NEW BAUHAUS and chatting with the Director this summer!

The film is an odyssey through the life and legacy of Laszlo Moholy-Nagy, the innovative artist and educator, whose pioneering approach to integrating technology into design continues to influence and inspire.

Sign up here and you’ll be able to:
•  Access and screen the film on Docuseek between July 28 and August 11.
•  Join us for a virtual Q&A with the film’s Director Alysa Nahmias on August 11 from 6 – 8 pm. Learn how Nahmias tells stories at the intersection of art and social transformation, with a focus on artists at the margins (or outside) of the canon, and the ways they respond to and shape the world around us.

On July 28, we’ll send you the link to screen The New Bauhaus and you’ll be able to watch the film at any time between July 28 and August 11.

Then, on August 11, you’ll get a Zoom link about 30 minutes before the start of the virtual Q&A with the film’s director so you can join the conversation.
