House is coming to Atlanta!

Join AIGA Atlanta and Andy Cruz, founder of House Industries, the legendary design studio that has mastered font creation and brand collaborations. For over 33 years, Cruz has navigated the creative world by unapologetically letting his interests inspire his studio’s next move. Hear how countless product designs, typographic explorations and projects with Hermès, The Eames Office, JJ Abrams and Porsche went down.

The evening will start with a presentation by Nathaniel Plimpton from the AIGA Student Board, carrying that same emerging-talent energy into the main event. Then Andy will share how “The Process is the Inspiration” with ample time for Q&A.

Andy Cruz is the founder and creative force behind the eclectic design studio and font foundry, House Industries. For over 33 years, House has created art for some of the world’s most dynamic brands, products, and people. Cruz’s work is in the permanent collections of the Smithsonian’s Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum and The Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation.
