Drink in Design:
Erin Bernhardt and Din Blankenship, Makers of Clarkston, the Film
Grab a beverage, any beverage, and get comfortable because MODA is bringing design to you!
On June 16, join us for a virtual screening of select scenes from the upcoming documentary CLARKSTON (working title) followed by a Q&A with the filmmakers.
CLARKSTON is the story of a Muslim refugee and a former Klansman whose only commonality is being the target of blame in a polarized America. Set to the backdrop of the most diverse square mile in America – Clarkston, Georgia – the film uncovers what is possible when we leave the security of our tribes and what is at stake for our country if we don’t. Be sure to check out the trailer!
About Drink in Design
Atlanta’s most creative people (and some from beyond the 404) will invite you (virtually) into their home, studio, or maker space. They’ll tell you about their work, their career trajectory, and what they’re thinking about now as our world takes a new form.
Drink in Design is held on Zoom, so you’ll be able to interact and engage with each designer personally. Just register and the meeting link will be delivered straight to your inbox.
