2024 Rise Up! Mentorship Program – Closing Party!

Join us Sunday, May 19, from 12-2 pm for our 2024 Rise Up! Closing Party!

The time has come to join together and celebrate all the growth and progress made over the last few months. This year’s participants will gather together one last time for an afternoon of sharing, fun, and a very special event… the very first Rise Up! Illustration Wars – a live illustration game that will take place during the Closing Party event.

What is Illustration Wars?

The premise is simple: Five pairs of program participants will have 1 hour to draw the best illustration they can on a white 2x2ft board using only black Sharpies and paint. Sam Flax has generously agreed to sponsor the Illustration Wars event and will be donating gift cards to the first and second-place winning teams.

You don’t have to be a pro to participate – all skill levels are welcome! Interested in becoming an Illustration warrior? Click here to learn more and sign up!

‼️ Please note that registration for the Closing Party and participation in Illustration Wars are open only to participants in AIGA Atlanta’s 2024 Rise Up! Mentorship Program. If you are a participant, please check your email for a registration code.

–––

We will also be conducting short video interviews during the Closing Party. If you enjoyed your experience during this year’s program or did something cool with your mentee/mentor, please consider sharing your story with us! An interview sign-up form will be emailed to program participants soon!
