Mentors and Mentees – It’s been nearly 5 months since we launched the 6th round of AIGA’s exclusive mentorship program, and the time has come again to gather and take stock of how far we’ve come.

Join us on Saturday, May 30th, from 10:00 AM – 12:00PM as we share the experiences and celebrate the accomplishments of everyone who took part in this year’s program.

We’ll also welcome our special guest, Atlanta-based designer, Tom Cox from Tom Cox Design. Best known for creating identities and designing logos and packaging for Coca-Cola, Surge, Holiday Inn, Reformation Brewery, The Smithsonian National Zoo, and The City of Woodstock just to name a few. With 30+ years of experience, Tom has endured his share of obstacles – entering an industry in the midst of transitioning to computers, multiple economic recessions, being laid off with two small children, starting his own business, losing clients, and now Covid-19. Looking back on the events that lead to where he is today, Tom remains optimistic. He believes in the power of design because he’s seen firsthand, the positive impact it can have.
