Brian Steely is a prolific designer whose monoline style has earned him a rockstar following around the world. He believes in eliminating the unnecessary so that the necessary can speak loud and clear, using simple lines to create intricate designs. His line-art masterpieces strike a balance between simplicity and complexity, and his work can be seen on everything from surfboards and Nike t-shirts to band merch for Widespread Panic, Mumford & Sons and Phish.

At Line and Beer, Steely will share his genesis as a designer and the evolution of his trademark style.
A Q&A session will follow.

The event will appropriately be held at Argosy, whose logo is a shining example of Steely’s work. They have generously offered up the Brig, their private back game room for the event. So, show up early for a game of skeeball, grab a beer and be sure to tip your bartender generously.
