Join Gail as she discusses her life journey, her work, and her inspirations.

Gail Anderson is the creative director at Visual Arts Press at the School of Visual Arts. She is also a founding partner at Anderson Newton Design, where she works with her pal Joe Newton on everything from book jackets to websites and tiny soaps. Anderson has taught at SVA for over 25 years, and has co-authored over a dozen books with Steve Heller. She is a member of the Citizens’ Stamp Advisory Committee for the USPS, and has lectured at conferences and universities around the world. Anderson is the recipient of the AIGA Medal for Lifetime Achievement, and her work is in the collections of the Library of Congress, the Cooper Hewitt Design Museum, and the Milton Glaser Design Archives at the School of Visual Arts. She has very curly hair that is rapidly becoming a nest, and likes to believe that she is a reformed hoarder.
